Riverside Park Enters Construction

20 miles north of Atlanta on the Chattahoochee River, Riverside Park has entered construction after the Roswell City Council approved a bond-funded contract with MAPP in December 2025. This $12.3 million redesign will balance improvements to event spaces, play areas, circulation, and visitor experience with preservation of riverine habitat on the region’s primary watercourse. One of three riverfront parks Starr Whitehouse designed for the City of Roswell, this project is one of the first in the region to realize recommendations from the Chattahoochee RiverLands Vision Plan.
