Kirk Hiatt

Associate & Director of Technology

Associate and Director of Technology Kirk Hiatt is a landscape architect focused on computation and media in Landscape Architecture. He leads the firm’s efforts in emergent technologies, modeling, and simulation for construction and is currently developing the firm’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows. A licensed Landscape Architect, Kirk is versed in every stage of design and construction, with experience on projects including public parks, plazas, greenways, on-structure amenity spaces, courtyards, and brownfield development. He is currently the design project manager for New Windsor Cantonment and Reeves Meadow Visitor center for the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation, and leads construction administration for the NYPD’s 116th Precinct Station House in Queens, NY, among other projects. In addition, Kirk volunteers with his local community through a steering committee redesigning Veterans Memorial Park in Warwick, NY. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and his graduate degree in Landscape Architecture from Ohio State University.
